Practice One, Bridlington The Medical Centre has been developed by the Practice jointly with the other 2 practices that occupy the building, so that we may provide the highest standard of facilities to our patients and employees.

The Medical Centre is easily accessible for those with disabilities as all our patient services are sited on the ground floor, corridors are wide enough for manual wheelchairs and there is the provision of a disabled toilet at the front of the building, accessed using a Radar key.

The Centre is normally open between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. Please Note: The Centre opening times are not necessarily the same as the surgery opening times

We are committed to providing a professional service. Our surgery is equipped and staffed to provide the full range of health care during the day up to 5.00 pm. We are not always able to provide a chaperone after this time which limits some examinations and procedures. In addition to this, we provide a number of specialised services at particular times. The receptionist will help you make an appointment.

We have introduced a new on line Repeat Prescribing Request system which is now operational, although we will still continue to maintain the original system of on line repeat requesting.

The new system is linked to Systmone, the Practice's clinical system, so when you log in it will automatically show a list of all your current repeat medications. You will be able to order them 7 days before they are due and this is indicated by a small box appearing next to the drug name, which you tick if you require. The prescription will be ready for collection within the usual timescales.

Could we remind patients only to order the medication that you need as there is currently a national campaign to help reduce waste drugs.

If you wish to use this system, you will need to call into the surgery and ask to be registered for Systmone On line prescribing and the receptionist will issue you with a user name and temporary password,which can be changed when you are in the system.

This is an easy and simple way to order your repeat medication and can be ordered anytime you remember that your medication is due.
